Today’s addition is a short interlude in the aftermath of the battle against the Death Knight. This is probably where the third story arc, “Deep Dive”, is going to end. Monica’s learned some new information on the bandit woman who was involved in her kidnapping, and Byleth learned what lies underneath Garreg Mach, as well as the mask of the Death Knight. I want to try to keep the events of Ghost within the bounds of the “academy phase” of Three Houses. I don’t know if I have it in me to do the academy and the war phase in a single story. Any post-academy events would have to come in a sequel since this story is meant to be about Monica adjusting to life after escaping from “those who slither in the dark”, with her goal to just make it through the year so that she can go home again.
